Condominiums offer freehold title. There are numerous condo projects in Phuket, principally located on the west coast and adjacent to beaches. Typical condos have 2-3 bedrooms, generous balconies and range from THB 5 million.
3. Semi-detached Houses and Townhouses in Phuket
Subject to price, the market is primarily interested in villas. However, in a number of developments, notably around Laguna, Phuket offers semi-detached and terrace houses, which are significantly cheaper than villas in comparable areas.
4. Phuket Resort Properties
Resort villas sell on their appeal as a holiday home and for rental income. Both the levels of management and the types of property vary.
5. Branded Property
These comprise reports operated by established hospitality groups. The most famous resort is probably Amanpuri villas at Surin. There are a number of branded resorts currently being developed, including Trisara, The Yamu.
