Bangkok Hotel Figures Q1 2023

QUARTERLY HIGHLIGHTS

‒   The number of tourist arrivals to Thailand in Q1 2023 increased by 18.5% Q-o-Q from 5,465,991 tourists in Q4 2022 to 6,477,538 tourists this quarter.

‒   Occupancy rate of Bangkok hotels in Q1 2023 was 71.5%, an increase of 4.8 percentage points Q-o-Q and 38.6 percentage points Y-o-Y.

‒   ADR was recorded at THB 4,096 in Q1 2023 representing an increase of 2.4% Q-o-Q and 72.2% Y-o-Y.

‒   RevPAR was recorded at THB 2,926, indicating a growth of 9.3% Q-o-Q and 272.2% Y-o-Y.

‒   There were three new hotels opening this quarter adding 483 keys to the existing supply. The total hotel supply increased to 77,319 keys, in 399 properties.
