SEMI-ANNUAL HIGHLIGHTS - CONDOMINIUMS & LEASEHOLD RESIDENTIAL

‒  1,008 newly launched units came from five projects: Laguna Seaside, Sky Park Celeste (Phase 2), Banyan Tree Grand Residence (Seaview Residences), Mandarin Oceanview Phase 1, and Royal Lee The Terminal Phuket.

‒  929 newly completed units came from two projects, namely Sky Park Aurora (Phase 1) and Royal Lee The Terminal Phuket, increasing existing supply to 11,648 units.

‒  There was 1 project, namely Wyndham Grand Nai Harn Beach.  from the future supply that was scheduled to be completed in H2 2022 but was delayed to H2 2023 due to the pandemic,.

‒  There are 5,358 units in the pipeline which are expected to be completed by 2024. Most of the future projects are in the West Coast area.

SEMI-ANNUAL HIGHLIGHTS - VILLAS

–  As of H2 2022, the Phuket villa market continued to show improvements in activity levels compared to the first half, as indicated by the increased number of newly-launched villa projects and the healthy sales performance of villa projects in general. In this half, 11 projects sold out.

–  In terms of new supply, 209 villas across ten new projects were launched, The increase in new villa launches brought the total villa supply (completed and future supply) to 5,186 villas in 346 projects.

–  A total of 167 villas were sold in H2 2022, increasing 28.5% H-o-H and 106.2% Y-o-Y. We believe most of these units were sold as owner-occupied villas for both foreign and Thai buyers, mostly as second home/holiday homes.
