Investment strategy adjustments amidst growing macroeconomic challenges:
– Despite the challenges, macro-economic environment in Asia Pacific remains solid, given the region’s strong internal growth drivers.
– Regional integration initiatives and joint promotional campaigns to boost tourism and facilitate cross border travel.
– Investors displayed a stronger interest in regional markets such as Vietnam, in search of higher yields.
– Investors are expected to adopt a more cautious approach in investment across all asset classes.
– In spite of Brexit, inbound investment in Asia Pacific is expected to remain resilient.

Other summary comments are:
– The economic climate in Asia Pacific continues to face major challenges , including economic slowdown of China and Brexit with Britain. Low interest rates continue helping to lower cost of financing and moderately boost overall corporate sentiment. Despite the challenges the macro-economic environment remains solid.
– Steady growth in international tourist arrivals. Japan was the leader followed by Vietnam and Singapore.
– Asia Pacific is expected to face difficulties due to an uncertain global economy and also the resulting currency fluctuations.
– Hotel investment outlook is predicting a more cautious approach
