Bangkok Condominiums – Where is the Most Expensive Address?

The Sukhothai Residence on Sathorn Road was perhaps the most expensive condominium in Bangkok, with units going for Bt280,000-Bt400,000 per square metre. The project, owned by Grace Ivory Co, has a total of 350 units that are nearly complete. The price of a detached house in Q Twelve on Ratchapreuk Road begins at Bt126.5 million. The project, launched by Quality Houses, only has 12 units. Each house is built according to modern luxury aesthetics and has 915 square metres of usable space.

Residence Sukhumvit 65 by Sansiri is perhaps the most expensive townhouse project in Bangkok, with units starting at Bt20 million. The project was launched in 2012 and the four-storey townhouses are still the most expensive going in the capital. Each unit has usable space of 300 square metres, with prices averaging at Bt66,666 per square metre.

The costliest plot of land is on Bangkok’s Sukhumvit Soi 24. It hit the highest level in 2013 with prices recorded at Bt2 million per square wah (Bt500,000 per square metre). This is the price that Proud Real Estate Co, owned by politician Suwat Limpatapanlop, paid for the 600 square metres of free land between Sois 22 and 24. It will develop a new condominium project, Park 24, worth Bt15 billion.
