Board of Investment approves 27 flood projects

The Board of Investment (BoI) gave the green light yesterday to 27 investments worth almost 16 billion baht for projects related to the floods.

All told, 95 applications totalling 45.8 billion baht have been submitted to the BoI for flood-related incentives, with the electronics sector showing the highest value.

Previously, the BoI approved 17 projects, bringing the total to 44 projects worth 25.5 billion baht.

Of the 27 new projects, 21 are expanding investments at their current locations, while three have chosen to move to new areas. One project is resuming operations at its existing location while also expanding at a new site.
