Phuket Property for Sale – Laguna Phuket ‘s New House and Apartment Project

Laguna Phuket have announced plans to develop 2,000 condo units, townhouses and single houses for sale worth a combined 15-17
billion baht. Their objective is to target Asian buyers, in particular Singaporeans, Thais, Chinese and Hong Kong residents.

In addition, Laguna Phuket is planning to develop Laguna Park, a new residential project with 2,000 units worth a combined 15-17 billion baht on 237 rai adjacent to the Laguna Phuket. Laguna Park will comprise four phases. Phase 1, to be located on 53 rai, will have 122 villas priced from 12.4 million baht; 117 town houses priced from 6.7 million baht and 301 condominium units, for which prices have not been set.

Laguna Park is the second residential project it launched this year. Early this year, it launched Laguna Shores, worth 2 billion baht and comprising 334 apartment units sold under a leasehold contract for 30 years. Half the project has been sold. Unit sizes at Laguna Shores range from 40-96 square metres and priced at 120,000 baht per sq m on average. Buyers can choose to enter a buy-for-rent programme with Laguna in which they can receive a net return of 3-6% a year.

Developed in 1987, the Laguna Phuket is an integrated resort complex on Bang Tao Beach, now comprising nine resorts, an 18-hole golf course, shopping centre, training centre, wedding chapel, spas and restaurants. It has a total area of 2,800 rai, of which 2,000 were developed into 750 residential units for sale.

Investments like this are evidence that there continues to be a demand for investment property in Phuket.
