Background

CBRE was appointed as a transaction manager and exclusive representative to work on finding new branches, renewing leases, relocating branches in better locations and exiting underperforming branches for the client. We are responsible for all documents, analysis, reports and also negotiating commercial terms and conditions with retail landlords.

Challenge

The appointment comes with multiple complicated tasks, high responsibilities and time constraints. The client also needed regular reports, calls and day-to-day communications.

Strategy

CBRE had to appoint dedicated team members who have good English communication skills to report on a weekly basis on progress to regional teams as well as to have in-depth market knowledge to be able to advise on strategies and make sure that the client had the best deals possible. Also, team members need to be assertive and proactive in analyzing the market and providing best solutions for the client.

Result

We are able to represent the clients in negotiating best terms and conditions in all retail projects and the client has renewed our exclusive agreement for more than 10 years.
