CBRE Property Management Thailand has officially been awarded the prestigious ISO 41001:2018 Facility Management Certification by BSI Group (The British Standards Institution). This significant milestone marks a key achievement in CBRE Thailand's commitment to excellence in property management, following a rigorous pursuit of certification that began at the start of 2024.

To mark this significant milestone, Mr. Kuldhaj Bunbongkarn, Country Manager of BSI Thailand, visited CBRE Thailand’s head office at One City Centre to present the certification, received by Ms. Phatsareephak Srikanchananon, Head of Property Management.

The ISO 41001:2018 certification underscores CBRE Thailand’s commitment to providing world-class facility management services. It provides a structured approach to facility management, promotes improved resource utilization, cost efficiency, and compliance with legal and sustainability requirements, ultimately fostering better operational performance and risk management while meeting the needs of users and the organization.

Achieving ISO 41001 certification involves meeting rigorous international standards that demonstrate effective management practices and operational excellence. “This certification serves as a foundation for CBRE Thailand to set new benchmarks in property management excellence while addressing market challenges and capitalizing on growth opportunities,” said Ms. Phatsareephak.

The property management market in Thailand faces various challenges, including a lack of standardized systems among many firms, which can hinder compliance with ISO standards. Additionally, achieving adherence to internationally recognized frameworks like ISO 41001 requires significant investment in training, processes and technology. There is also a need for greater client awareness regarding the value of ISO-certified management services.

Despite these challenges, opportunities abound in the market. Achieving ISO 41001 certification positions CBRE Thailand as an industry leader, attracting clients who seek high-quality management services. Furthermore, the implementation of ISO 41001 fosters operational excellence, promoting efficiency, sustainability and improved tenant satisfaction.

Looking ahead, CBRE Thailand is committed to expanding the practices associated with ISO 41001 across more properties, promoting the value of ISO-certified management to clients and integrating these standards with Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives. The company is focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence to further solidify its leadership position in the industry.

CBRE Thailand’s ISO 41001:2018 certification is a testament to its commitment to providing superior services and innovative solutions, reinforcing its role as a trusted partner for clients navigating the complexities of facility management.
