QUARTERLY HIGHLIGHTS
- The number of tourist arrivals to Thailand was 6,437,153, an increase of 306.6% Y-o-Y but a slight 0.6% decrease Q-o-Q from 6,477,538 tourists in Q1 2022.
- Occupancy rate of Bangkok hotels in Q2 2023 was 67.3%, decreasing 4.2 percentage points Q-o-Q but increasing 21.4 percentage points Y-o-Y.
- ADR was recorded at THB 3,853 in Q2 2023, a decrease of 5.9% Q-o-Q but a 36.7% Y-o-Y growth.
- RevPAR was recorded at THB 2,595, representing a decrease of 11.3% Q-o-Q but growing 99.9% Y-o-Y.
- There were five new hotel openings this quarter adding 980 keys to the existing supply. The total hotel supply increased to 78,164 keys, in 403 properties.
