QUARTERLY HIGHLIGHTS

‒   A number of listed developers have announced plans for downtown project launches in 2023, but many of these are planned for late 2023. Condominium market activity continues to be concentrated in the midtown/suburban area with starting unit price at no more than THB 3 million.

‒   The number of international arrivals to Thailand increased from 5,464,991 tourists in Q4 2022 to 6,477,538 tourists this quarter.

‒   According to STR, the hotel occupancy rate in Q1 2023 was recorded at 71.5%, increasing 4.8 percentage points Q-o-Q and 38.6 percentage points Y-o-Y. Average Daily Rate (ADR) increased to THB 4,096, representing a 2.4% Q-o-Q and 72.2% Y-o-Y growth.

‒   Total occupied space in Q1 2023 was 7,890,331 square meters, with an overall occupancy rate of 84.1%, declining by 1.0 percentage points from the previous quarter and 2.4 percentage points from the same period last year.
